Tier S in CardioStationary Bike Ride
5 exercises
A stationary bike gives you smooth, low-impact cardio while seated, from easy recovery rides to hard interval sprints. It is kind to the knees, hips and back, making it a favorite for beginners, heavier people and anyone returning from injury.
Choose an upright or indoor-cycling bike for intense workouts, or a recumbent bike if you need back support or have limited mobility. Look for magnetic resistance, which is quiet and smooth, easy seat and handlebar adjustment and a solid, stable frame.
Set the saddle so your knee stays slightly bent at the bottom of each pedal stroke, and keep your back neutral rather than hunched.
