Tier S in CardioRowing Machine Steady Row
2 exercises
A rowing machine simulates rowing a boat, with a sliding seat, foot straps and a handle linked to air, water or magnetic resistance. Every stroke works your legs, hips, back and arms, making it one of the most complete low-impact cardio workouts.
Air and water rowers feel the most realistic and get harder the harder you pull, while magnetic rowers are quieter and cheaper. Check the length (often about 2–2.5 m), whether it folds or stands upright for storage, and the rail length if you are tall.
Drive with your legs first, then lean back, then pull with your arms — keep your back straight and never yank the handle with a rounded spine.
