Bodyweight training uses your own body as the resistance — no equipment, no membership, just you and a little floor space. With smart progressions of push-ups, squats, lunges and planks, it builds real strength and fitness anywhere, from your living room to a hotel room.
Start with the basics — squats, incline push-ups against a table, glute bridges and planks — for 2–3 sets of 8–15 reps, then progress by slowing the tempo, adding reps or moving to harder variations. A yoga mat makes floor work comfortable, and a pull-up bar is the best first upgrade when you are ready.
Train on a non-slip surface, warm up first and progress one step at a time — stop any movement that causes sharp joint pain.
